特點：熱帶及亞熱帶地區的錦葵科灌木植物。莖皮紅紫色，淡黃色花，花萼呈杯形五裂，授粉結果後變肉質，稱作果萼。

種法：耐旱怕濕，喜光，喜溫，適合生長環境溫度在25-30℃ 範圍。宜選有充足陽光、土層深厚、排水良好的砂質壤土種植。

用法： 通常作花茶或果醬食用。富含花青素、原兒茶酸、鐵質和鉀質等物質，具抗氧化、去水腫、保護心血管健康等功效。
